Red River Métis, born in southern Manitoba. Spent most of my life on the prairies then relocated to coastal British Columbia.
Textures. Colour. Lines - Squeezed together. Visuals of life's minutest moments. Common, relatable experiences - Laced with a soupçon of darkness.
Accepted to The Art Students League of New York, 1980, York University, 1981, The Herron School of Art, 1982. Experienced in Print Design & Desktop Publishing - Life within four corners.
Primarily, work in the mediums of watercolour, oil pastels, charcoal, ink, & collage. Teaching experience consists of non-credit adult art classes in watercolour, drawing, & portraiture. Exhibition experience consists of: group shows Regina SK., Edmonton, AB, & several solo shows in both provinces.
Interviewed by: Edmonton print media, radio stations CBC & CJSR; produced a segment for ‘Out Front’ on CBC Radio.
