Red River Métis, born in southern Manitoba. Spent most of my life on the prairies then relocated to coastal British Columbia.
Colourful, playful, expressive textures - laced with a soupçon of salty darkness - striving to capture the feelings of heightened aliveness thru everyday living.
Accepted to The Art Students League of New York, 1980, York University, 1981, The Herron School of Art, 1982. Experienced in Print Design & Desktop Publishing - Living life within four page corners.
Primarily, work in the mediums of watercolour, oil pastels, charcoal, ink, & collage. Teaching experience consists of non-credit adult art classes in watercolour, drawing, & portraiture. Exhibition experience consists of: group shows Regina SK., Edmonton, AB, & several solo shows in both provinces.
Interviewed by: Edmonton print media, radio stations CBC & CJSR; produced a segment for ‘Out Front’ on CBC Radio.
